Which horse has the best odds? Each horse has different odds, and you can click on the horses listed on the left side of the screen to check out the stats of a particular horse and jockey.
How much to bet? The minimum bet allowed on a horse is 10c, although the minimum bet varies, depending on which betting style you use for each race.
How many horses should I back? This also depends on the type of bet you wish to place. With some of the betting options, you can bet on just one horse, but others will allow you to choose as many as you like.
What kind of bet should I place? You can mix up your betting styles as much as you like, or just stick with your favourite – it’s up to you! There are five different options available, Winner, Exacta, Place, Show and Pick 4-5.
Winner is the standard bet, where you bet on the horse you think will win.
Exacta is where you can predict which 2 horses will come in 1st and 2nd place. This is harder to predict, so the payouts are higher!
Place is where you can choose a horse, which you think will come in 1st or 2nd place. You can choose more than one horse in this betting option.
Show is where you can choose one horse, which you think will come in 1st, 2nd or 3rd place. You can choose more than one horse in this betting option.
Pick 4-5 lets you try and predict the first 4 or 5 horses in the exact order of how they will win. As the order of 5 horses is harder to predict, it pays out better than when you select 4 horses.
